Description
Introducing EMBODIED Podcast. As we gear up for our Season 7 premiere on September 15th we wanted to share with you another podcast that we love and know you'll love too. Enjoy!
Embodied is a new podcast hosted by Anita Rao . Every episode is an invitation to have conversations that most people consider impolite. Anita believes that pushing past our discomfort with talking about taboo topics will ultimately help us build more empathy and understanding for others…and decrease shame about sex, relationships, and personal health.
She even practices what she preaches with her own family. Her very adorable parents appear in the podcast, asked to reflect on their own experiences with everything from poop to porn. The show is produced by North Carolina Public Radio, W-U-N-C where it started as a radio series. This episode, the very first, examines how our path to discovering sexual pleasure is affected by what’s left out of how we talk about sex.
Embodied can be found on all major audio apps and there’s more to discover at w-u-n-c-dot-org-slash-embodied. If you like what you hear, Anita and her team would love it if you’d subscribe, rate it, and leave a review. That’s what us podcast types like.
