Antonio Harvey, former NBA player and commentator and currently CEO of Legends Brand, found an investment opportunity that he just couldn’t pass up and became one of Portland Oregon’s ONLY legal black cannabis producers.
But what if you found out that your decision to enter the world of cannabis cultivation would mean that you would be the lone black male in any space where your peers were doing business -- for years? Would you back out, knowing how painful it can be, to be the only one in the room? Or would you encourage other black men and women to join you, showing them that this is an opportunity to finally level the playing field.
