This week on the podcast I am joined by Jivana Heyman. Jivana is a E-RYT 500 yoga teacher and the founder and director of the Accessible Yoga Association. He's also the co-founder of the Accessible Yoga Training School and the author of Accessible Yoga: Poses and Practices for Every Body, as well as his forthcoming book Yoga Revolution: Building a Practice of Courage & Compassion. In this episode of the show, Jivana shares his yoga story, what drew him to creating accessible yoga classes and ultimately creating the Accessible Yoga Association. We discuss what accessible yoga is and how teachers and studios can run classes that are accessible to more people.
