 Welcome and back to the Sunflower Allotment Podcast!  The New Year is here and with it plenty of allotment jobs! During this episode we discuss allotment jobs as well as planning for the planting of a fantastic and rewarding perennial: asparagus. January is a quiet month but a  great month to prepare the plot for the future. Peter and Tim discuss January jobs such as buying seeds, tool inventories, cleaning pots, putting manure on the beds, pruning fruit trees as well as two important community days coming up: Potato Day and Norwich Community Seed Swap.  Asparagus is a superb vegetable that, in time, can be extremely rewarding.
