Malik describes how Van Dyke can benefit from having one voice from his offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. There was a disconnect last season, but now the same person, Shannon Dawson, fills both of those roles. Rosier also appreciates the additions Miami has made in the defensive backfield, with four new cornerbacks added through the portal. Malik does have some concerns over Miami’s safety depth, but considers Kam Kinchens and James Williams to be one of the best starting duos in America.
