Description
Professor Pankaj Kapahi has his own lab at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging. His research for two decades has been focusing on things such as dietary restriction, fasting, rapamycin, nutrition and longevity. Pankaj was one of the pioneer researchers who discovered in the beginning of 2000 that genetic inhibition of mTOR led to life extension in flies. In this podcast we are going to talk about that discovery, Rapamycin, calorie restriction and other interesting longevity topics.LinksKapahi's Lab at Buck InstituteJuvify and GLYLOPankaj's twitterRapamycin resourcesRapamycin.newsRapamycin Facebook groupRapamycin Reddit groupConnect with Krister on:TwitterInstagramDisclaimer: The podcast is for general information and educational purposes only and is not medical advice for you or others.
