From humble beginnings at the New Criminal indie theatre group Steve met John Cusack, the two went on to write the classics Grass Point Blank and High Fidelity. He has also produced projects such as Entourage and the Tom Cruise action comedy Knight and Day.
As a director he has gone from strength to strength with Netflix series Santa Clarita Diet starring Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant and the hugely successful Kobra Kai but you may know him best for the comedy classics Accepted starring Justin Long and Jonah Hill and Hot tub Time Machine starring John Cusack
