Michelle recognizes the value in capturing moments. She has a way of getting the best out of families while always allowing their individuality shine. In this conversation we get to know how Michelle became the go to family photographer in New York City as she opens up about her business and health journey. Michelle is a New York City based lifestyle photographer specializing in family portraits. She was introduced to photography at summer camp around age 11 when she was allergic to everything else the outdoorsy camp had to offer. She went on to receive her BFA in art photography and hold prestigious internships with photographers and magazines -- the Annie Leibovitz Studio and Instyle Magazine to name a few. After spending 10 years as a women's magazine photo editor at titles such as Cosmopolitan and Glamour, Michelle went out on her own and created Michelle Rose Photo. She feels very lucky to be able to spend time capturing photos for families, brands and magazines.
