Description

Hailing from a tiny rural village called Collon, in Co. Louth, Ireland, Clare Cunningham is an independent, award-winning singer-songwriter (including 12 nominations at the upcoming Josie Music Awards, which will be held at the Grand Ole Opry on Oct 22nd 2023), performing, touring, and recording artist. Her raspy, Celtic, soulful voice, with the ability to span across a multitude of genres, is what leads her to be an extremely unique artist. Her 'GRAND OLE OPRY’ debut (March 18th, 2023) was a sold-out show and an accomplishment that’s extremely rare as a completely independent artist. A surprise add-on to the bill on the night was her childhood idol, GARTH BROOKS, and TRISHA YEARWOOD. Clare also performed with STEVE EARLE, singing his infamous ‘Galway Girl’ as a duet.  As if the stars had aligned, Clare had only just starred in the new GARTH BROOKS documentary ''GARTH BROOKS: COMING HOME'' - An exploration of the life of the country music star, looking at his biggest songs. These relationships have influenced his career and his love affair with Ireland. Clare shares her journey, her faith, and how her music trascends oceans, culture, and her goal to help those who suffer from mental illness. Also joining us on the show is Nashville music consultant, Jana Jones Uttz who helps co-host this episode. www.clarecunninghammusic.com © 2023 Lotta Dogs Productions LLC Showrunner and Executive Producer Emeritus: Tom Sabella Producer and Host (the guy who has a face for podcasting): Bob Bender Management Representation: Chuck Thompson for Thompson Entertainment Group, LLC Co-Producer - Audio/Video Editor (the man behind the curtain): Mark Sabella Director of Video and Continuity (the brains of the entire operation): Deborah Halle Marketing and Social Media (all knowing): Sarah Fleshner for 362 Entertainment All Around Problem Solver (and Mental Health Therapist for us): Connie Ribas Recorded inside what could be an old beat up Airstream Trailer located somewhere on what’s left of Music Row in Nashville TN (Man we sure do miss Noshville, and the Longhorn Steakhouse) Mixed and Mastered at Music Dog Studios in Nashville, TN Editing and Post at Midnight Express Studio located in Olian, NY Production Sound Design: Keith Stark Voice Over and Promo: Lisa Fuson Special Thanks to the creator and founder of the podcast, Tom Sabella, along with Traci Snow for producing and hosting over 100 episodes of the original "Business Side of Music" podcast and trusting us to carry on their legacy.
