Obviously, Jesper Bratt's contract has been a pretty big talking point throughout the New Jersey Devils' discourse. Tom Fitzgerald has mentioned that he doesn't anticipate much trouble in regard to getting him extended. However, it seems as though Devils fans have heard this story before and are just anxiously waiting for it to actually get done. Since Bratt is a restricted free agent, it's quite possible that his rights might get traded away if both sides can't come to an agreement. There are some solid options available for the Devils if they decide to go that route.
