Ondrej Palat has not scored a goal since March 7th and has been struggling as of late. The New Jersey Devils signed for him to be a solid contributor, however, it seems as though he has not been worth the money that the Devils have been paying him. Palat signed a 5-year, $30 million contract over the summer but he's been an overpaid bottom-six player as of late. Maybe he can pick up his game come playoff time. Speaking of which, it'll be interesting to see which team the Devils play in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Will it be the Florida Panthers or the New York Rangers? Either way, the Devils will definitely have their work cut out for them.
