On June 12th, 1977 a number of girl scouts arrived at Camp Scott in Mayes County, Oklahoma for what was to be a summer adventure. During the night, a camp counselor woke up to a strange and guttural noise coming from the woods outside her tent. As she traveled down a path through the rain with her flash light the noise seemed to stop and start with every move. She would have no idea that by morning the explanation behind that noise would unveil one of the most grisly murders in modern history.
