Rocket Raccoon is the heart of this movie and the new leader of the Guardians in the MCU. He has one of the best tactical minds in the galaxy.

Adam Warlock has been a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers at different times. He also played a critical role in defeating Thanos.

High Evolutionary has a lot more to do with Adam Warlock than Rocket Raccoon in the comics.
