Among other titles, he wrote Real Artists Don’t Starve, where he debunks the myth of the starving artist with rules for artists who thrive.  “Being seen doing your work is the best marketing an artist can offer.” - Jeff Goins  With everything he’s done, Jeff has made more than a few observations about the world. Here are some common misconceptions about art that he busts today:  Real artists don’t care about money.  Real artists don’t need to do any marketing; they just have to make good art.  Artworks reach a point in creation when they are finished or complete.  “Art is not the thing you create. It is the process by which you create it.” - Jeff Goins  One of the things Jeff shares is that an art is never finished. A book is never done, it’s only due. Books and art belong to a certain point in time, and can never be recreated, even by the artist.
