In the summer of 2020, and in the middle of a global pandemic, her younger sister, decided to travel to Miami (unbeknownst to the family) to get a fat transfer procedure. The outcome was catastrophic, and she wound up with a fat embolism leaving her with severe cognitive and physical disabilities.
