Bar-Tal is an Israeli academic, author and Branco Weiss Professor of Research in Child Development and Education at School of Education, Tel Aviv University. He is the author and editor of a number of books and journal articles, including Intractable Conflicts: Socio-Psychological Foundations and Dynamics, and Stereotypes and Prejudices in Conflict: Representations of Arabs in Israeli Jewish Society. We are joined in this conversation by Charles Randall Paul, founder and director of the Foundation for Religious Diplomacy and author of Converting the Saints: A Study of Religious Rivalry in America.
