Today we're talking about the U.S. state of Arkansas. Arkansas is a state located in the southern region of the United States and it is part of the Great Plains region of North America.

The state is bordered by six states - Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Missouri and Texas - as well as by the Mississippi River. Arkansas has an area of 53,179 square miles and is the 29th largest state in the United States.
