God brought our ancestors out of the slavery of Egypt in order to bring them into the freedom of the promised land. This was a type and shadow of His ultimate plan to bring His people out of slavery to the kingdom of sin, sorrow, misery, and death and into His kingdom of life, liberty, peace, and joy! Just like the first exodus, the second one requires action on our part if we want to experience His will for us and our loved ones.
