Laura joins us this week from New York where she is a mom of three and a teacher. Laura was employed at the school her children attended, but recently left this position because of the radical agendas being pushed upon both the students and the teachers. Laura's youngest was no longer happy at school, so she pulled him and enrolled him in an online school, The Keystone School, where he has flourished.  The Keystone School offers a flexible online learning environment for grades K-12. Laura explains how her son is able to get his coursework done and still manage to attend snowboarding school in Vermont for the winter season. Programs like this really let us see that kids don't need to be at a desk for 6+ hours a day! I loved hearing about this schooling option, I think this will be a saving grace for working families who don't want their kids indoctrinated by the school system- but don't have the time to sit with their kids one on one to teach.As more options for homeschooling arise, we as parents become more empowered.
