The Husker247 Podcast returned this week and focused primarily on a pair of discussions that spanned the entire show. The first centered on Nebraska’s wide receiver room and the second was a discussion about where things sit for in-state recruiting. 
Discussion about wide receivers started with Garret McGuire who spoke after Tuesday’s practice. The trio gave their thoughts on why his age is overblown, what they’ve heard or learned regarding McGuire and more about the receivers coach. 
From there the conversation moved to the position in general. Does Nebraska have a No. 1 wide receiver? Who could the top receivers be this year? Could there be surprises? Will Nebraska struggle because it may not have a big play threat like a Trey Palmer or a Samori Toure? 
Following a quick timeout the show moved over to recruiting to discuss Ashton Murphy. The Elkhorn South lineman committed to the Huskers, giving the team three commitments for the 2024 class and the first in-state commitment for the cycle.
