Description
You know when you love something SO MUCH that you’re terrified of messing it up? Same. That was me with photography for a long, long time. I was so passionate and so excited and so honored to do the work I was doing that, well… …I self-sabotaged the heck out of myself. I let fear win. I was terrified that everyone would find out I was a fraud. And I hated all the photoshoots I did. But, guess what? Once I finally, finally realized that I deserved to take up space, just as I was, that changed for me. My confidence grew. My images got better. The way I communicated was more seamless. One of the biggest things — one of the things that got almost instantly better — was posing my subjects in ways that made my images come to life naturally and joyfully. And, like you know, posing isn’t easy. It takes a ton of practice (no matter who you are), and I don’t know a single photographer who hasn’t had to have a ton of practice to make it feel natural and effortless. It’s what makes today’s episode so freakin’ valuable… because today I’m sharing simple tips to make posing feel easy.
