Invest in yourself. Spend what is needed to get to valuable educational events (like WealthCon), buy and read books about entrepreneurship, talk to people who are farther on the millionaire journey than you–anything to put a spark in your mind and make you sharper. 2. Invest in your business. Do what you have to maximize your personnel, your advertising, etc. 3. Invest in assets that work for you but don’t require constant monitoring, such as rentals, Airbnb’s, and even artwork.4. Invest in memorable experiences with those you love. Go on vacation! Visit that monument your kid asked you about and take lots of pictures. This keeps you going, and makes you want to earn another million. Broke people only invest in things that make them feel rich, but this is a vicious trap of useless spending. Instead, use your money to invest in yourself and learn some new things; you are your biggest asset.Peter and Ryan also talk about networking. You may be avoiding this part of “investing in yourself” because you think there’s no reason rich people would want to talk to you.
