Description
Ron Young’s story is a roller coaster ride through the music business. His personal rise and fall began as the son of an abusive mother. But music would be his savior and hopes for a bright future ahead. As lead vocalist of the band Little Caesar, he shot to rock stardom thanks to being backed by a major record label and working with the biggest producer in music - Bob Rock. But then it all came crashing down. He dealt with bad timing, bad luck and those who said he just didn’t have “the right look”. Eventually he found his band crashing as quickly as it rose. That was followed by heroin addiction. He had hit rock bottom. Finally, Ron found sobriety and a musical resurrection and he’s here to tell his story. In this episode, Ron gets brutally honest about his battles with the music industry, bands who use pre-recorded backing tracks in concert, 90s bands and more!Purchase a copy of Judge A Book By Its Cover through Amazon HERE Check out Little Caesar's official website HEREFollow Little Caesar on Facebook HEREListen to a playlist of the music discussed in this episode HERE Visit the Booked On Rock Website HERE https://www.bookedonrock.com Watch exclusive video segments from the Booked On Rock podcast HERE Follow The Booked On Rock with Eric Senich:FACEBOOK TWITTER INSTAGRAM TIKTOK Support Your Local Bookstore!
