Your Los Angeles Angels are 2-1 after this weekend's Opening Series against the Oakland Athletics! While it was great to have Halos' baseball back, it was not without its controversies, as the first game of the season ended in frustrating and classic Angels fashion. Shohei Ohtani delivered a dominant start, but the Angels couldn't provide enough offense to preserve Ohtani's lead, eventually blown by the bullpen. We'll recap game 1 in segment 1!
Then, Saturday and Sunday were much different, as the Halos' dominated both with their pitching and endless runs, scoring 11 in one inning on Saturday! Starts from Patrick Sandoval were helped by the likes of Mike Trout, Shohei Ohtani, Taylor Ward, and the MVP of the weekend, Logan O'Hoppe! He drove in six total RBIs over the weekend, including his first career home run on Sunday! We'll tell you all about games 2 & 3 in segment 2!
