The Miami Hurricanes are more than halfway through spring football. Have any roster needs become diminished thanks to players stepping up? The offensive line looks better than advertised to this point thanks to solid performances from transfers Javion Cohen and Matt Lee and a solid start to his Canes career by early enrollee freshman Francis Muaigoa. Miami has been looking to add another WR, but have solid performances in practice by Colbie Young and Jacolby George made WR less of a priority?

Despite some encouraging signs at receiver, both Donno and Bruce feel that MIami has the need for another speedy, outside presence. The Hurricanes have a major need for another defensive tackle, preferably a big body over 300lbs. One must wonder if the Canes could use another running back. Only 2 out of Miami’s 5 scholarship backs are practicing in spring. That unit will be very young next season. The Hurricanes could use another cornerback and safety, too.
