Gout is an inflammatory monoarticular arthropathy inflammatory. It's a condition involving inflammation of one joint most often, but it can involve more than one joint in some cases. Gout occurs because there's deposition of monosodium urate crystals within that particular joint. Having high levels of uric acid in your blood can lead to deposition of these crystals.
