Description
Today we're broadcasting live from the Lowell Showboat as a fundraiser is being held for Doak Dean as he's currently fighting Cancer. Throughout the show, we heard from some of Doak's family as they're raising funds for what Doak is going through. We also talked about MSU and the loss the Kansas State, Jett Howard declaring for the NBA, and more as we were joined by some of our great insiders. We kicked off the show with Chris Balas from theWolverine.com talking about Jett Howard. Huge and Chris gave their thoughts on how well Jett will do, if he's even ready, and more. We were joined by MSU Head Basketball Coach Tom Izzo in our second hour to talk about the loss to Kansas State last night. He gave his thoughts on how close this team was to advancing, talked about what could've been better in last night's game, and much more. We were then joined by Noel Dean who is Doak Dean's father. He came on with Huge to talk a little about Doak's journey, what this fundraiser means to the Dean family, and more. We were joined by Anthony Broome from theWolverine.com to talk some more Michigan basketball. Anthony gave us his thoughts if Jett will end up working out in the NBA, talked a little about the NCAA Tournament, and Anthony updated us on Michigan football. We were then joined by Noel Dean again to talk a little High School football. Noel coaches down in Georgia, so he and Huge talked about some of the similarities and differences between Michigan and Georgia. We wrapped up the broadcast with Janet Korn from Experience GR, as well as Maggie Lancaster from the Grand Rapids Children's Museum. They joined Huge to talk about some of the great things that Grand Rapids has to offer to families with small children.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
