The Minnesota Wild ran their point streak to 9 straight games with a dominating 3-0 win over the Calgary Flames. The Wild improved to 8-0-1 over that stretch as Marcus Foligno and Matt Boldy snapped long scoring droughts. Joel Eriksson Ek started the scoring in the first, and the game would stay that way until Marcus Foligno doubled the lead. Matt Boldy capped the scoring and Filip Gustavsson stopped all 31 shots he faced as the Wild won the first end of their home and home series against Calgary. The Wild host the Flames on Tuesday night at Xcel Energy Center.
