Today we’re taking a look at what makes this tradition important and sit down with Lauren McDuffie, a Charleston, SC-based cookbook author, food writer, stylist and photographer for some ideas on how we can lighten up Sunday Dinner in the South. We got to catch up with Lauren McDuffie creator of the popular recipe website, My Kitchen Little. She also created the culinary memoir blog, Harvest and Honey, She authored the "Appalachian-ish" cookbook, Smoke, Roots, Mountain, Harvest (May 2019) and, her new cookbook is called “Southern Lights: Easier, Lighter, and Better-for-You Recipes From the South” She brought a great perspective on how to lighten up Sundays.
