Inspiration for the Book, Below the Line came from the desire to pass along her experience working in this business. The inception of Below the Line began as notes in her phone while working on set, and over the years morphed into enough content for a book. A survival guide to help navigate the film industry, Below the Line is Melanie's personal and practical advice of the realities and demands of working on set.
