In this episode, we recap the highlights of the third week of Florida's legislative session, which began with the release of the House and Senate's proposed budgets for the 2023-2024 fiscal year. We discuss the ongoing race for legislative members, lobbyists, and advocates to ensure their budget priorities are funded in at least one chamber. We also cover important legislation passed in the Senate Children, Families, and Elder Affairs committee and House Children, Families, and Seniors subcommittee, as well as the First Lady's expansion of the Hope Florida initiative.
