There's been speculation for months that one day Arizona State could wind up in the Big 12 given the potentially shaky future of the Pac-12. Their future interests are still best served in the Conference of Champions, who would also be well suited to see the Sun Devils' athletics thrive once USC and UCLA leave for the Big 10.

ASU basketball was one of just four Pac-12 schools to advance to the NCAA Tournament in 2023, a contract year for HC Bobby Hurley. His future, as well as that of ASU's Men's Basketball team, remain murky at best right now.
