This week I sit down with the phenomenal Hadrien Feraud - bassist for bands and musicians such as John McLaughlin, Chick Corea, Billy Cobham, Jean Luc Ponty, Bireli Lagrene, Dean Brown and many more...I know this sounds like an exaggeration, but when I first got to watch Hadrien play live (at Manchester Bass Day many moons ago) it literally changed my life. I'd never seen anyone do what he did that day - and still to this day no one has ever affected me in such a way. It simply blew my mind and I'll certainly remember that day forever.In this episode we discuss his past, how he found the bass, how his father introduced him to many different styles of music - right through to been viewed as one of the most talented and sophisticated bass players of our time in terms of technique and improvisation.
