Steve Durand and his beautiful Malamute, Inuk join us this week on the podcast. 7 years ago, after winding down a career in music production, he bought 465 acres an hour outside Ottawa in the Canadian wilderness with goals to: live a more sustainable life, learn how to survive independently, and share his experience while protecting the land. In that time he's established himself a homestead and built three cabins which he now rents to those looking for an unforgettable immersive experience in nature. Steve maintains all the trails and cabins on the property himself while still some how finding the time to capture it all to share with everyone.
