Actor David Dastmalchian has become known as one the busier guys working in Hollywood thanks to roles in The Suicide Squad, Dune, MCU's Ant-Man franchise, The Dark Knight, and more. But he's also the creator and writer behind Count Crowley: Amateur Midnight Monster Hunter, which revolves around late-night horror host Jerri Bartman who discovers her job also entails real-life supernatural threats. The second volume of the Dark Horse Comic debuted in March 2022, and now Volume 2 of Count Crowley is hitting bookstores as a trade paperback on March 14, 2023.
David joined Talking Strange on the day of the premiere of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and before the premiere of his movie Late Night With The Devil at South By Southwest, to discuss Count Crowley Volume 2. He also chats about monsters and the paranormal, and teases a bit more of what's to come with Jerri Bartman, and even her potential leap to live action.
