Description

Frater D (Deimne) is an occultist based in the West of Ireland, traversing the dual paths of ceremonial magic and the Irish magical tradition. He has been trained in the Irish tradition through Ord Thoil Eireanach (the Irish Order of Thelema) before going on to work under the auspices of Clan Dord Fiann (Family Deers Cry) and Ord Craobh Airgead (The Order of the Silver Branch). He has also worked with ceremonial magic through Thelemic orders including the A.'.A.'. and the Golden Dawn tradition through the now sadly defunct Ancient and Honourable Order of the Golden Dawn. Since then he has been working with the Sub Rosa Circle, a geographical experiment in peer to per hermetic and qabalistic learning, and is involved in reviving Golden Dawn work in Ireland. He has been published in the Golden Dawn journal The Light Extended, and several other places.

"...I believe in three doctrines, which have, as I think, been handed down from early times, and been the foundations of nearly all magical practices. These doctrines are— (1) That the borders of our minds are ever shifting, and that many minds can flow into one another, as it were, and create or reveal a single mind, a single energy. (2) That the borders of our memories are as shifting, and that our memories are a part of one great memory, the memory of Nature herself. (3) That this great mind and great memory can be evoked by symbols." - William Butler Yeats (G.H. Frater D.E.D.I.) *SUAT*
