Jeremy Hefner is the pitching coach for the New York Mets. He joined the Mets in his current role prior to the 2020 season after spending one season in the 2019 as an assistant coach with the Minnesota Twins.  As a player, Hefner was selected in the fifth round in the 2007 MLB Draft by the Padres but after being traded to the Mets, made his MLB debut as a player in April with New York.
