The Miami Hurricanes put the pads on for the first time at spring football practice number three on Thursday. Veteran DB Te’Cory Couch says the team is practicing faster than they did in spring last year. He says the competition level is higher and players are HUNGRY. WR Frank Ladson made his spring practice debut on Thursday. Early enrollee Francis Mauigoa was getting starting reps at right tackle. His brother, transfer linebacker Francisco, was starting at Mike linebacker. 
Host Alex Donno reviews another eventful day of spring football and recounts some of the best quotes and stories from players C Matt Lee, Couch, OL Anez Cooper, and WR Colbie Young, who all spoke to the media after practice. Young looks trim this year. He says he dropped his weight down to 214 lbs so that he can play even faster in 2023. Donno discusses how Miami is missing so many of their top defensive linemen in spring ball but players like Branson Deen, Thomas Gore, Jayden Wayne and Rueben Bain are getting opportunities to step up. 
Donno reviews a victory for the Canes basketball team in the quarterfinal round of the ACC tournament. Miami beat Wake Forest 74-72 in Greensboro to advance to the tournament semifinals. They will face the winner of Duke vs. Pittsburgh.
