Description
Jose Luis Pedraza was born and bred in Spain. He is a former musician who now lives full-time with his family in Sydney, Australia. He was my Camino mentor. We talk this week about a Spanish perspective - the cultural significance to the Spanish and what it means for locals to walk, live and breathe the Camino de Santiago.
There is a parallel podcast in Spanish if you want to test your bilingual abilities!!!
The music this week is extra special. It is called "La Peregrina" composed by Venancio García Velasco for the Suite Maragata (on popular motifs of Astorga and his Camino de Santiago)
I am most grateful to the composer’s family for allowing me to use this special piece of music.
It is played in full at the end of the podcast
