Today we're broadcasting live from Van Andel Arena as they're hosting the 57th Annual Great Lakes Hockey Invitational today and tomorrow. Throughout the show we were joined by some of the great people from Ferris State University as they're helping make this broadcast possible. We kicked off the show with Mike Knuble talking about the event and what it means for Hockey and Grand Rapids. He and Huge talked about the teams playing in the GLI, discussed where the Wings and Griffins are at in their season, and more. We were then joined by the voice of FSU Bulldog football, Rob Bentley. He and Huge talked about the Bulldogs winning back-to-back Championship titles, talked about the Ferris Hockey team, and more. We wrapped up the hour with Jeremy Mishler from the FSU Alumni Association. He told us about FSU and their footprint in Grand Rapids, discussed what this event means to FSU, and much more. We were joined by Rich MacKeigan from Van Andel Arena to start off our second hour talking about the GLI coming to Grand Rapids. He and Huge talked about what this means for GR, the future, and more. We were then joined by Anthony Broome and John Borton from theWolverine.com to get their thoughts on the Michigan/TCU game this weekend. We wrapped up the hour with FSU Bulldog Head Hockey Coach, Bob Daniels. He and Huge talked about the history of the GLI, discussed this D1 Ferris Hockey team, and much more. We kicked off the final hour of the show with Bill's earlier conversation with Mike Kuble about the GLI. We were then joined by Harrison Watt who is the voice of Ferris State Hockey. He and Huge talked a lot about the journey of the FSU Bulldog Hockey team this season, their match-up with MSU tonight, and much more.
