The Minnesota Wild fell to the Colorado 3-2 at Xcel Energy Center Wednesday night. The Wild thoroughly outshot the Avs, playing on the second night of a back to back through 2 periods but trailed 2-0 to the Avs before Joel Eriksson Ek scored his 21st goal of the season to make it 2-1. The Avs added a goal and led until late in the 3rd when Kirill Kaprizov scored his 31st goal of the season. The Wild went empty net late but were not able to get the tying goal as Alexandar Georgiev made 41 saves in the win. The Wild are now 1-2-1 on their 7 game homestand and host Dallas on Friday night.
