The term Folk Catholicism has been growing in popularity, however, there seems to be a few definitions of it.

I’ve also been surprised that many current conversations discuss how the phrase is being used “now” - but not many discuss the origins of the term, which showcases an evolution of thinking, and also - a rich history of folk practices in modern Catholicism.  So I'm hoping this episode fills that gap, and presents the whole picture of this term.
