His work covers a wide range of topics, including anthropology, history, and the study of anomalous phenomena in nature. An avid outdoorsman with an interest in tracking and the study of North American animal species, he has a long-held interest in the myths and traditions involving Sasquatch-like creatures around the world, resulting in a hopeful but critically-minded perspective on the topic.Dakota “Smoky” Waddell holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and history and is currently completing an Associate’s Degree in Geomatics Technology at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College. He is professionally employed as a land surveyor with GIS Information Certification, a discipline which he hopes to see applied more to the topic of zoological mysteries in the future. He has also been involved with The Cornell Lab Citizen Science birdwatching project.Jeff Smith is a U.S. Air Force veteran with nearly 3000 hours in the air as a Navigator in C-130 E/H and various training aircraft. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature with a Minor in Classical Studies from the University of Arkansas and a Masters Degree in Military Operational Art and Science from The Air Force’s Air Command and Staff College (Online). Jeff also holds an Associate’s Degree in Geomatics Technology from Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College.
