Housing inventory levels continue to drop. In fact, they were back down to 970,000 in February. That's not a lot of available housing for a country with 330 million people. And, as interest rates shrink, the number of people who can afford to buy a home expands by the millions.  What does this mean? We’re seeing a lull in home buying activity. But if inflation continues to regress, mortgage rates will likely do the same.  And that could mean by summer, we'll find ourselves in another buying frenzy. Right now we are in a sweet spot for investing opportunities because competition from retail buyers is down.
