Wright-Patterson Air Force Base is the oldest flying field in the world and is located near Dayton, Ohio and is the site where the Wright Brothers developed the first practical airplane. This still active base has hundreds of buildings on the property and a few of them are reputed to be haunted, particularly the United State Air Force Museum.
