Outsiders unfamiliar with anime wouldn't label it as an inspirational medium, but nearly every weeb will cite their favorite shows as motivation, or at least inspiring, in some aspect of their lives. While watching our favorite anime characters show their motivation through dramatic or hype moments, many of us identify the themes in a more realistic approach: the necessity of teamwork, kindness and empathy and the importance of perseverance and hard work.
