This trailer goes out of it's way to let the viewers know "This is not a love story", and that "This is the story of love"... Noted. But when we're talking black cinema and romantic comedies or just romantically driven films overall, The Photograph is still at the top as one of the best since Love Jones. But something about the Indie feel and simplicity is what is interesting about this here. My biggest take away from this is how strange an on screen couple casting John David Washington and Zendaya are. But we shall see. Enjoy, people.
