The Miami Hurricanes are about to hire their 5th offensive coordinator in 6 seasons. Tyler Van Dyke is about to work with his 3rd OC in 4 years. Host Alex Donno stresses the need for continuity from the next OC hire. Ideally, the next coordinator would be around for at least three seasons: that would allow them to finish out the Van Dyke era and hopefully help him improve his draft stock, while laying the foundations for Van Dyke’s successor. 
Donno is asked if there is a “perfect” candidate out there who is a great play caller, relationship builder and recruiter. Donno thinks a combination of Dan Mullen at OC/QB coach with James Coley as WR coach might be the best way to address all those needs. If you want to fill those needs with a singular name, Jason Candle and Warren Ruggiero could each offer a solid solution. 
Donno discusses Miami’s new preferred walk-on linebacker Tyler Lassiter. Alex discusses the possible reasons off the field why Gattis had to be let go. Donno agrees that Deion Sanders can become a thorn in Miami’s side recruiting defensive backs the same way Ohio State’s Brian Hartlne has become that in wide receiver recruiting.
