Description

Stacey Rudser is Maintenance Supervisor for Breeze Airways, specializing in Airbus A320 family maintenance. She was the first woman to graduate from the Aviation Institute of Maintenance, Orlando and earned her A&P in 2009.  Passionate about diversity in aviation, Stacey serves on the national Board of Directors for the Association for Women in Aviation Maintenance (AWAM), chairs the national Scholarship Program, and is the founder of Central Florida AWAM chapter #23.  She works closely with many industry organizations like the Aviation Technician Education Council (ATEC) and the Aeronautical Repair Station Association (ARSA) to ensure women are represented at all levels of the aviation maintenance industry.  Stacey was inspired to become an advocate after receiving a career changing scholarship through AWAM for UPS Airlines 767 maintenance training. In 2018 she was selected as a recipient of the AMT Magazine Next Gen 40 under 40 award and her greatest honor is the opportunity to serve on the FAA Women in Aviation Advisory Board. Hear more about Stacey's career path to aviation maintenance as well as the extreme challenges she faced being a woman in the aviation industry.
