Description

GySgt Joshua Gage is a Marine Corps JTAC and Fire Support Man currently serving with 2nd Marine Division. Prior to that, Gage was Special Operations Capabilities Specialist (SOCS) at Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC). He served with MARSOC for five years as a team JTAC for multiple Marine Special Operations Teams (MSOT) during three deployments. He also completed two deployments to Afghanistan with 2nd Battalion 6th Marine Regiment. His first deployment with 2/6 was in the newly cleared Marjah District in 2010. Following that deployment, Gage attended TACP school and was immediately given orders back to 2/6 for their upcoming deployment to Nawa.During the podcast, we discuss how Gage operated as a Fire Support Man and JTAC with the different units he was assigned to. We also have a great discussion concerning mental health and the inaction by those most affected. Like me, Gage is a motorhead so we talk about his new Indian motorcycle and he compares how it rides to his Harley Davidson Dyna. In addition to talking about his motorcycles and the club he is involved in, we go over the work he had done to his Scion FR-S while he still owned it.As always, make sure to subscribe and share the show!YouTube: http://bit.ly/formeractionguysYouTubeSpotify: http://bit.ly/formeractionguysGooglePlay: http://bit.ly/formeractionguysGoogleApplePodcast: http://bit.ly/formeractionguysAppleiHeartRadio: http://bit.ly/formeractionguysiheartr...Contact:Website: www.jcramergraphics.com Instagram: www.instagram.com/jcramergraphics Instagram: www.instagram.com/formeractionguys Twitter: https://twitter.com/4meractionguys Email: formeractionguyspodcast@gmail.com Reference:152 - Walkie-talkie style tactical radio7-Ton – Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement (Dump truck-sized military vehicle for hauling troops, supplies, etc.)7171 – Patrol Base in AfghanistanABC - ANGLICO Basic CourseANGLICO – Air Naval Gunfire Liaison CompanyBLT – Battalion Landing TeamBRC - Basic Reconnaissance CourseCAR – Combat Action RibbonCLB – Combat Logistics BattalionCO - Commanding OfficerCOC – Command Operations CenterCorpsman – Navy medic attached to MarinesEOD – Explosive Ordnance DisposalFAC - Forward Air ControllerFCT – Firepower Control TeamFDC – Fire Direction ControlFET – Female Engagement Team.FSCC – Fire Support Coordination Center.
